White hospitalized

Byron White, a member of the State Board of Veterans Affairs, Blue Star Salute and five time Purple Heart recipient was in the hospital last week for metastasized colon cancer.

Representatives of various veterans organizations met last week and asked that they each keep White in their prayers.

He was at the VA Medical Center in Birmingham. I will post more on his condition when I get an update.
